This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
oops, don't normally read lifestyle, so sorry for double topic thingy.
british airways has apologised saying 'a new terminal promised a unique challenge', i wonder how they will cope with a new runway, more air traffic, hence new flightpaths. the air traffic controllers will have a nightmare..
'Unparalleled comfort & convenience
with British Airways at Terminal 5..'
it says on the google link, anyway.....
There will always be some initial teething problems with something like this, you would expect to allow for it up to a point..., that said, the wider issue is that like the motorways it is always the next one that's going to run like clockwork, & be the solution to the existing shortfall/congestion. It's a short-term approach that implies that 'just one more' will be the end of it, when it never is.
I feel embarassed being British. I am sure those Singaporeans and Hong Kong people are laughing at this...
It's hitting the FT, Reuters, Forbes, Bloomberg...
We planned this for 20 YEARS and we can't even get the basics right (i.e. baggage capacity). They also had a BACKUP baggage system as well. Obviously, both failed...I mean come on...

just listening to the news updates on this... all too familiar, problems were identified in the run-up to opening but (allegedly) concerns ignored or brushed aside. same old story.
Can't wait to see how they manage to screw up the 2012 Olympics

Who else can take a brand new custom designed terminal and cock it up to such epic proportions?
I have seen new airports in India go smoother that this crap.
And then the retard of a mayor goes as says that with the Crossrail development City airport wont be needed as everyone can just get to Heathrow quicker. Personally, I pay extra to stay the hell away from the ****-up that is Heathrow.
