I can't wait to try this out. I'm intrigued to find out how it compares to 'normal' exercise. Looking forward to seeing what muscle groups it works and if it is actually a good workout.
Though, slight problem, I'll be needing to get a Wii first, hmm...
Have to say UEFA 2008 is keeping me off Mario Kart at the moment.
Is Wii Fit a serious exercise tool or just a bit of fun Lee?

Thinking about buying wii fit, must see it tested first.

I saw a few Wii Fits in stock in Woolworths today, so I kinda bought one on impulse.
It's good! It's a bit mad (fitpiggy?!) and quite Wii Sportsy-but-fitnessy. I like it. I've been playing it with Mummy all afternoon. It's another of those more-fun-when-social games, and I can see lots of families and student houses getting a lot out of it.
Kotaku sums it up quite well (I know, I'm a Kotaku whore). The £69.99 price tag is a little bit of a pain, when compared with the upcoming $89.99 launch price in the US, but it's not a disaster of Rock Band proportions.
I can easily recommend it for $89.99. For £69.99... well, it's Wii Sportsish. If you hated Wii Sports, I doubt you'll like this - even though the style of play is very different, the feel is very similar. Sooo... ummm... I hope that helps!

Me too. Although before I discovered how to 'cheat' at boxing that kept me going and sweating for ages! Might get it if I still see some around.
I reckon it's just a bit of fun and as for the game, well I'll wait and see shall I?
What I mean is I'm not bothered about the wii-fit game itself, but more the opportunity that game developers in general have to use this controller in the future.
For example, snow boarding games might be able to use this and give us a more realistic gaming experience, well apart from sticking your head in the freezer for 10 minutes. Alternatively, they could implement a football sim where you've got to run on the board, with faster running meaning your players sprint for the ball, and jumping actually makes your player jump to head the ball.
If they can utilise the wii-fit board in such a way, then I think that it will appeal to more people.
