That's going go over the heads of a lot of folk, but I thought I'd let you know that at least one person got it. Do they even still make stuff any more?

You don't need this card specifically, any CUDA card will accelerate CS4.

This is just the latest Quadro card that Nvidea are cross marketing with Adobe. My Quadro NVS 290 will also accelerate CS4, just not by nearly as much.

    Oh and Jenny? Nice one

Talking Re: News - NVIDIA launches Quadro CX GPU in wake of Adobe collaboration

The company Matrox have been using these tricks for years. However my card got thrown away because CPUs went faster and it was always unstable (although nice when it didn't crash!). It was a vain attempt on my part to stabilise my Premier system and be able to ring Adobe with a known (read simple but fast) hardware configuration. My Adobe CS3 system is STILL unstable even after doing averything as a clean install, and I cannot tell you how much pain that was.

Once Hd came along AND idiots like me wanted to work in it cheaply this was an obvious progression, but please can I have some stable software again...just for an hour or two...please?

I dread upgrades be they Microsoft or the manufacture doing it.
