    News - ASUS officially takes the wraps off its finger-friendly Eee Top

    ASUS' all-in-one take on the nettop has been officially launched in Taiwan and should arrive on UK shores in a matter of weeks.

    I don't see the point in this.

    A touchscreen pc for your home...

    So its not a tablet pc, do therefore not portable.

    So you would sit at your desk with the screen right in front of you so that you can touch it....!!hmmm

    I can definitely think of uses for this, just none of them have a huge market.

    Glorified picture frames, home appliance controllers, whole house media center controller, kitchen media center client using the screen as the controller, etc.

    Like I said, lots of uses, just not mass market. Although for those that are in that market it will be a huge boon, these things exist right now but they are massively expensive and usually completely closed systems instead of just being a cheap ass PC.
