    News - Sapphire trots out AM3-supporting PURE CrossFireX 790GX

    They don't say it's an AM3 board - says clearly it's an AM3-supporting board (ie AM2+ and correct bios).

    Still looks very nice though, for the right price.

    Yes, but didn't we already know that AM2+ boards with an appropriate BIOS would support AM3 CPUs? I wouldn't have thought that a marketing ploy was worthy of front-page news...
