That is just obscene... don't even want to think about how much that would have cost! Shame it doesn't say what ppd that chucks out though... Any guesses?

I'm guessing this is the guy in the video: http://folding.extremeoverclocking.c...hp?s=&u=366389

    So that's 268,140ppd average!

Re: News - 23 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 GPUs show how folding ought to be done

decided i'm gonna get back into folding.
before i start.. do i need any sort of special client that can use 8 'cores'
and do i need a special GPU one that can use both GPUs?
or maybe even 3 GPUs if i stick the 8800GT back in there?

SMP client and you need to edit the config file to assign wus to each card iirc

    sod that.
i'm not running SMPs cos they have to run in the taskbar and just get in the way
i'll just run 2 of the normal system tray ones.
should get enough from 25% of my CPU and 1 GPU

Re: News - 23 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 GPUs show how folding ought to be done

In order to get the 8 cores running right on one of the server I use, I had to run two smp cores seperately with different machine ID's.
