Sweet, been thinking about getting a new card for a while now.
Wow, and I thought the £350 I payed for my 4870X2 about 5 months ago was good. Crossfire 4870X2s here I come .

great hopefully can get a better onee than i though
building new pc soon
just gota save up hmmmmmm
At only £40 more than the cheapest GTX 275 it seems like reasonable pricing. Similar tech, a handful of extra mhz on the core and mem, and an extra few MB chucked in. To be honest, this has made the pre-overclocked 275s look silly rather than vice versa.
Also, the scan comment? Generally scan are very well respected, especially here at Hexus. I also don't think it was deliberate advertising, just that they are often at the front of the U.K. market with price cuts. The 4870 price cuts last week, for example, are still to be reflected at ebuyer, but scan had them up straight away...
Si tacuisses, philosophus mansisses
Would love to know what percentage of graphics card sales fall into different price brackets. What is the actual demand for £200 + graphic cards. Surely if AMD wanted to really wipe the floor with Nvidia then bring the 4870 1gb down to £120 price market!!!
