    depending on how much it costs I think this would make an ideal media server or kitchen computer. Silent operation is certainly appealing.

    It'd better be a lot less than 50W, especially idle, considering how poor the performance would be 50W is quite a lot!

    I have an old laptop, removed the (broken) screen and WLAN card, powered by a Pentium-M 1.6GHz it'd be faster than this and is <20W idle - it makes a pretty tidy server box as it hides away in a cupboard and makes little noise, I wired it to the TV for console, and of course being a laptop it has built in console keyboard/trackpad!
