To compensate for the 4770 being in very poor supply most probably. Looks good, maybe there will be custom coolers right away? The 4770 is still waiting for some custom cooling lol.
Any news on the power useage on these? Its going to be more than the 4770 but could it be more than the 4850? It has ddr5 which uses less power right? But the higher core clocks could make it even more power hungry, i still think the sapphire 4850 vapour x is looking like the best value card especially its power performance.
ATi are really doing well these days.
