With Vodafone recently introducing a complete overhaul of its roaming charges for a short period of time, it seems that mobile phone operators are finally beginning to compete on these prices, instead of just leaving them in the small print. Considering this I don't know how much effect these new rules would have had compared to the natural course of prices if no rules were put in place. That being said, I welcome the rules even if they still seem a little slack (only a €0.03 difference in the cap for making calls compared to the average) as they should act as a catalyst for lower roaming charges (I mean even lower than the cap's which will be introduced).
