Im liking the specifications on this one, getting closer to the type of thing I'd like. Again, shame about the price.
These things seem to be getting bigger and more expensive as the technology progresses. Isn't it suppose to go the other way?
For another 100 I'd go for their R620 ...
So it's basically a copy of the PB / Gateway stuff we saw earlier (i.e. 11.6", 1366x768 screen) , but with an NVidia chipset / Atom and it'll cost significantly more?
I know where my money would be going...
give me an out-of-order 64bit processor.
in short, put a Nano in it.

You mean like the Athlon Neo?
that would be cool (provided it came with the 780G), but since samsung is talking about Ion that leaves the Nano as the only option.
Atom is gutless, and needlessly crippled of 64 bit'iness, and i say this as the happy owner of a lenovo S10e.

Since when did ION support Via's Nano processor? NVidia have been talking about coupling it with CULV, which would be *very* interesting - but if an Ion / Atom netbook is £600 an Ion / CULV would be more like £750...
And yes, Neo will be much more appealling when they manage to sort out the 780G chipset for it. For now, though, I'd rather take the Neo + 690G @ < £400 than Atom + ION @ ~ £600...
