They are more than welcome to try it out in my area!

My broadband speed - 750 Meganibbles/minute
As someone with a maximum of 512 kbps I say bring on the fugly!
Given my paltry 2Mb I would be more than happy for them to come and drop some uglies on my corner... it's not going to be as ugly as the bus stop anyway!
As usual though, progress halted by some NIMBY Luddites who seem to think the bottom left hand corner of the view from their bathroom window is somehow more important than the rest of the world...

I bet they also complain about the internet access speed in the area. They should try living somewhere where the local kids burn out the bt connection boxes - Then you have something to actually complain about - This is extra true as BT seem to have taken 3 months to repair it.
"Ungrateful *obscenewordhere*s"
People want faster, more reliable Internet - but only if it looks good. Seriously, people need to sort their priorities out. Though, I may regret saying this when I get taken back with the sheer ugliness of what BT may have done, as BT can do amazingly bad things.
What's the problem?
BT should simply stop installation, give the technology to someone else, and let the residents of Muswell Hill battle it out.
What no-one has mentioned is that the new boxes are all housed in life size copies of Mick Hucknall of Simply Red fame.
I've changed my mind; destroy them all!!!!!

BT should tell them, if you complain, you wont get faster broadband from us.
I have a nice big garden, BT are welcome to use it to test out faster BB. Dog might 'mark' it but don't worry about that.
I also want a picture of this box that has so offended some southerners.
