Finally, the day has come where I can walk around talking into my watch pretending I am Michael Knight

"Sure thing Michael"

Not being funny, but does *anyone* ever use video calling? I've had a 3G video phone thingy for years, and I'm yet to even try the video calling functionality.
In my book, that makes this watchphone one giant fail.
edit: Just noticed that it comes with a the bluetooth headset, which makes more sense. Nevertheless, video or voice calling - you're still going to look like a rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish.
voice is ok, because with a headset you just dial on your watch and chat away as you would normally.
I've used video before, RARELY and only to show prospective sofa's to my partner who was at home ;-)
I've been on both sides of the fence on this one..deciding if its a good idea or just a gadget that no-one will ever use.
I've decided in the end that its a work of genius, and the first step to properly replacing the very old fashioned "candy bar" style of phone that 99% of us use (I include flip phones in that also). If you think about it, why must we hold our hands to our heads when making a call? Makes us all look silly and you get a tired arm after a few hours on the phone lol..
So BT headsets came along to help solve this issue - so the next step is to remove the phone part completely and just have the headset. You also want the headset to be as invisible as possible - so doesn't make a whole lot of sense to pack all the phone electronics into one just yet, so putting it elsewhere on your body makes sense (and a watch especially as lots of people wear them ofc). The headset can then be miniaturized over time until people can't tell you are wearing one. Bam, the perfect PHONE (for making VOICE calls).
Of course where it falls down totally is on texting or emailing, as sadly we've not quite got to consumer level video contact lenses (for UI display) or speech recognition (for text/emails)..but I digress.
Upshot is that I want one lol, and if I had £500 disposable in my pocket i'd be queuing up to get one..
Neat.
Only used video twice. Thats in 18 months. Most people either dont have it or it isn't included in their contract plan.
