Yes. *want*
Um, why don't they just release a USB3 adaptor for £20, and a usb HD controller...I'd but a few of those instantly for me servers
Now you *need* to buy a few SSD's to make sure you fill up the available bandwith (poor person crying face). On the other hand, i would fo thought the P55 boards people wanted included a non-melting Foxconn socket regardless of price.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Hmm, 6 RAM slots on a P55, how does that work?
The white slots are your standard run of the mill dual channel slots, that can take DIMMs or SIMMs
If you use 2 white 2 blue, you have 2 pairs of dual channel and can use DIMMs or SIMMs
if you use 2 white 4 blue you can only use SIMMs
i.e. you can have 4 DIMMs or 6 SIMMs
As to why, who knows? They are redfundant for practically everybody, as most RAM is double sided

I'm confused
I thought SIMMs only came in 30 and 72-Pin modules? I haven't seen those since my Pentium MMX.
You mean't single sided DDR3 DIMMs as opposed to double sided DIMMs right?
Are SIMMs and single sided DIMMs the same thing?
You're right, i just call single sided DIMMs, SIMMs, seeing as though the term is practically redundant now
SIMM > Single Inline Memory Module
DIMM > Dual Inline Memory Module

The blue bridge-sinks look ugly. Blue PCB, blue bridge-sinks, too much blue!
