    I can't believe it's been so long since Office 2007.

    Now if only they could make Outlook NOT SUCK.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    No outlook 2007 does suck - It uses Words HTML engine for rendering. Its so poor at HTML it makes me want Outlook 2003 with IE6 HTML rendering back....

    I concur. Not sure how Outlook 2007 sucks either. It works. Sends mail. Easy to setup for home and business users.

    I've used Lotus Notes - and it is the worst by far.

    I use Evolution now - it's not much better than Outlook.

    But Outlook really grinds my gears with its use of unnecessary modal dialogue boxes,
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    The new Outlook in the beta version of 2010 works really fast and feels a lot smoother than the 2007 version I was using before. Strange to say this about any Microsoft product, but the whole thing feels kind of sleek and speedy...

    I'd cut off my arm to stop using notes.

    Sometimes I open outlook 2007 and just sit there weeping softly to myself.

    Re: News - Microsoft Office 2010 out in June

    Wow, that looks like an improvement on things!

    I'm still using Office 2003 so the next jump for me will likely be to 2010.

    Its weird that Office seems to go from being cutting edge to ancient in just a few years! I'd really like to pack up my Office "Suite" but I just can't get Thunderbird to work properly (or show message details across two lines as per Outlook) so I guess I'm stuck with either '03 or going for the new '10. I'll have to have a dig around for a beta version!

    Cheers,
    Harv
