Re: Reviews - Roccat Kone Gaming Mouse (user)

Gaming mouses, they do work, but they are not "essential" if you want to become good at gaming.

I became top 10 in the UK on an FPS used to play on the PC, and I was using some crappy Packard Bell mouse which I had for 5 or so years back then. I did get a G7 and my accuracy did get better without a doubt, but unless you are at a high level, you just won't see the advantage of a gaming mouse, it's like owning a Ferrari and not going over 50mph.

    Guys, fella's, Hexites...

This is SammEl's opinion, it is not inflammatory & should be respected as such. No more flaming please & keep the discussion on topic. Personal opinions of each other take outside.

    Cheers peeps.

    Feel the love

Re: Reviews - Roccat Kone Gaming Mouse (user)

Looking for a new mouse, this one is on my list of 3, along with the Logitec G500 and the CM Storm Sentinal.
    Upgrading from a Logitec MX518...

    Any input

Re: Reviews - Roccat Kone Gaming Mouse (user)

    Trig,
I bought this mouse after reading Matty's review and love the mouse.

It is bigger than my old mouse which was a Razer Diamondback which I had for years. It took me a good 3 - 4 hours to get used to the mouse properly with a medium weight in it and I have noticed an improvement in my aim and accuracy, the 3200 DPI makes a big difference for quick spins on the spot or in mid air.

Re: Reviews - Roccat Kone Gaming Mouse (user)

Yeah, think I'm gonna stick to the 10g weight..
Will give it a proper work out tonight with a bit of CSS and see how it works compared to my MX518 at home, needless to say its better feeling and bigger than the Intellimouse I use at work lol
