£10 jeez that is expensive, I paid 30 for the game alone and they're charging a 1/3 of that price for just 5 maps. Activison are just slowly alienating all of their gamers. I wonder if it will be the same price for PS3 and PC.

PS3 will be the same price, as for PC if they do that then I think they will suffer low sales.

Problem is its not even 5 maps. It's 3 new maps and 2 from Modern Warfare 1. So you are only getting three maps. Tbh I can easily just move back to CoD4 on the PC and play Bad Company 2 as the new online shooter for me, better squad based game for me, no run and gun one man army rubbish you see all the time on MW2.

Exactly BC2 has it's head screwed on. EA actually doing the customer a favour to Seems the roles have reversed with Activision and EA.

Why is everyone charging 1200MSP now, everything used to be 800 max and £10 sure is expensive just for a few maps! As if the game alone costing £45 wasn't enough anyway! Gamers should get map packs for free like BC2 are going to do!!

The update could be implemented for free with steam, maybe.

Those of us with the PC version would love for that to happen but tbh, this is Activision and Infinity Ward so they will charge. PC gamers were charged for the Borderlands DLC so I can imagine Activision would have no sleepless nights trying to get the PC gamers to pay the £10 for it. We will have to wait till the end of April to see what they charge for the PC version as the 360 has it for 30 days exclusively.

Activision are definately not themselves any favours here. First they bump the RRP of the console versions massively, then they do the same to the Map Pack.

With a revamped Medal of Honour coming in November and BC2 tempting people across, they're going to kill their market share very quickly.

A lot of developers see COD:MW as a massive revenue earner and will be looking to take that away from Activision. Luckily for them, they're making is easier.

I thought they were just making two maps from conquest mode into rush mode or vice versa?

It's expensive, and a joke tbh

I'd never pay £10 for 5 maps for a game, especially when its such an expensive game to start

QFT. I'd pay £1 per genuinely new map at the maximum (ie: £3 for this pack), but would obviously prefer to pay nothing.
