The Bad Company 2 benchmarks are where... ?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Looks like a complete waste of money for someone who already have 5850/5870...

Even for new buyers there isn't much in it apart from higher price tag, 50W more power drawn..

Oh wait you get higher clocks and quieter cooler + 2GB of RAM..

Hard to make up your mind and decide pros and cons...

You know how some threads are just useless without pics?

This review is useless with eyefinity.

Whats next for AMD regarding GPU's? This is now their line up for thr 5xxx series, so I guess they will start a price war when Nvidia release the new series of cards.

Do they have any x2 cards due?

Factory overclocked 5970s with 4GB of ram (2GB per core) running at stock HD5870 speeds with custom PCBs and coolers.

the problem is the card hasnt been tested with games that at the moment do need a 2gb frame buffer, they should have tested aliens vs predator, metro 2033 and battlefield bad company 2. most of the games they tested are a bit old now and no wonder its not showing any increase if the games dont need a 2gb frame buffer.

Not much improvement with this card but any small advantage over 480GTX numbers is a winner cosidering 480 performance, price, TDP.

So true. It would be like testing a super car around a supermarket car park and saying it wasn't any faster than a mini in the same car park.

I'm wondering when these are out also.

I've got my eye on this card now I think as the Fermi's just don't do it for me price/power/heat wise.

Still no sign of these being released.

i've noticed a few other reviews now of this card on the net, and also the Asus Matrix 2gb card - but no ideas/clues of availbility.

Re: Reviews - Exclusive - Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 TOXIC 2,048MB graphics card review

Well this bad boys been in stock in Overclockers.co.uk since yesterday morning @ £399.

I was sat with my finger on the buy button for almost 2 hours as I read and re-read all the reviews if it.
In the end I didnt buy it, at the £400 mark its in GTX 480 territory, and part of me thinks if i'm gonna drop £400, why not get the beast itself...........

Probably give it a week or so and see if anywhere else gets it in a little cheaper, or maybe consider the Asus Matrix HD 5870 2gb - which looks set to arrive soon at Circa £370.
