Re: Analysis - Has Facebook fever struck the Web?

I am sure i am not alone in not wanting to have anything to do with facebook and don't want to see who has eaten a carrot this week on every page a visit?

Makes me wonder how long it is before it starts effecting you credit file and such like, right now not being on the electrol role can cause you problems but how long before not being on facebook causes you problems.

I believe some employers look people up on facebook, now will it get to the point where they assume if they can't find me I have something to hide? or worse so find somebody else with my name who is a complete tool.

It just seems I am alone in the world with my dislike of facebook, apple products and Simon Cowall!

I'm almost tempted to visit facebook to make sure there isn't a tool with my name. xD

haha, i actually asked a friend who uses it to check and luckily nobody with both names for me. "I am not a number!!"

As for the comment in that article about employers checking it, not being on it luckily didn't affect me getting my new job
