News - OCZ unleashes super-slick, super-quick portable Enyo SSD

Portable storage solutions rarely look this good, and with read speeds in excess of over 250MB/s, OCZ's Enyo could be one for the wish list.

Well at first I thought WOW FINALLY!! BUT!!! Then I realised that it's actually massive and Scan had the USB3 sticks with the same speed and capacity in stock for ages..... so now I'm actually thinking...what's the point?

i dread the day when my life is such a rush that i deem a portable drive with those speeds a necessity

    ...still want one though

i guess this looks more elegant even though it is bulkier. What i'm interested is how the Icy Box 250StU3 performs and if it is any good. If the USB 3 chip is competent then you can put in your own SSD in there (even a 5400rpm drive would see a benefit).

Depending on whether they've inflated the performance figure, it could be quite a bit faster than SuperTalent's RAID-pendrive http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.ph...1&limitstart=5 (Fast but not as fast as manufacturer suggests)
