    Yay...

so now we can see where people are and when they are out of their homes so they can get robbed easier.

it's all good implementing all this location tagging business, but they've not though out the security implecations as things like this will start be used for criminal purposes in the end.

Most people already post there every move any way, so it won't make much difference.

I don't know who you have on your friends lists, but none of my friends will be robbing my house anytime soon...

And you know that every friend you have, or 'data endpoint' is secure?

I mean if I was doing this I'd have a very simple trojan that went round collecting and collating all this stuff...

Average facebook user is probably a teenager/student and won't have a clue that their privacy settings allow anybody to see their entire profile though.

I don't know anyone that has their full address listed on facebook, so if you didn't know the person already you'd need to get this from somewhere.

Also, if most users with loose enough privacy settings are teenagers/students then they'll most likely be living with parents or housemates so them being out is not very useful information. Basically, it isn't feasable.

Actually I'd bet that it's older users who are less computer savvy that are less aware of their facebook privacy.
