Slowly turning into the DNF of the racing genre xD

Hard to see how Sony will make any money back on this game with numerous changes to the game and then pushing it back and 5 years in development. It's going to have to be the be all and end all in racing games in order to live up to the hype.

Can you ask them to make one? It'd be quite cool to have a more gossipy section where Hexus reports on these kind of things rather than confusing them with genuine press releases etc. At least your report is pretty clear now I look at it again, but where it's not it has a negative effect on Hexus' trustworthyness, and at worst might stop people putting out news to Hexus in the first place if it's just going to be treated the same as forum rumours.

im sure the 5m or so copies sold of prologue has done them no harm at all

Unless they coded it so it flew out of the PS3 drive slot half way through a race in a fire ball into a wall and then throws a steering wheel onto the carpet.

Either way I'm buying it, the real question is do I give in and buy an Xbox 360 just for Forza 3 while I wait, endlessly.

I've actually just started playing Forza again - ripping through career mode with all my free cards T10 have give me I'm still eager for this to come out, thought i would be playing it come June but that seems ever so unlikely now - One could hope that Sony's E3 press conference could say were launching GT5 next week!

I try, I do what I can.

I actually bought a 360 prior to the PS3, however as soon as I got the PS3 I never used the 360 so I sold it. Now I might need to buy another one just to play Forza as I need a decent racing game to keep me sane.

Hoping I can work it so I have a few days off when it comes out, or I might have retired by then, only another 40 years to go before then mind.

I am pretty sure I read somewhere that the amount they have spent working on this game and if those that bought the prologue all bought a copy of GT5 then Sony would be something like 40% out of pocket for the development.

Wish I could find the article, I am almost certain it was pimped on these very forums some months back
