Ooh great - two fails in one sentence! While Mozilla said Fennec is available for Android 2.0 phones and above, it has been designed to work particularly well on the Nexus One.
Fail 1 - Android 2.0+ only - oh wonderful, so those of us who's phone is made by folks who haven't got on the Eclair+ train (yes I am looking at you SonyEricsson!) are cut out.
Fail 2 - optimised for the Nexus One - a phone that's on limited availability. Anyone else see the obvious problem with this? Why on earth not "optimise" for something still being actively sold - HTC Hero, Desire, etc. Heck, approach Samsung and see if they can get a few hundred won to optimise it for the Galaxy S.
At least Opera Mobile works well on my SE X10.
