    It does look good, I think software will be the biggest problem though. Even with a 'netbook' I'm going to want a Open Office style office suite, and there's no point in being able to output 1,920x1,080px without a decent video player.

    I would buy this for £200, but at £300 I'd sooner buy a netbook that is arguably more capable, or at least flexible.

    Agreed, I can see £300 being a little too steep.

    As for Android (and never having personally used it - maybe i should try to have a play some time), i thought that it wasnt very effective in a keyboard & mouse-type environment... or am I wrong?

    Perfectly good keyboard environment, I have an X10 Mini Pro and the keyboard is loads better than an on-screen jobby. A mouse will just be like a non-multi-touch touchscreen I guess, not an advantage really but I bet it's cheaper than making such a large screen touch sensitive!
