i already uninstalled it as vbulletin forums didn't work well.

Well still using it on the Gaming PC and it's fine, Family machine is so-so so we swap between IE9 and Chrome 7.0. Doesn't work on the a lot of the work web based apps, only thing it works on is the intranet (which is not updated or used that often so pointless).
I'm not particularly excited tbh. So I'm waiting for the full release version to find out what the fuss is about
Hi Folks
For those who have not been to beautyoftheweb .com, I highly recommend it. There you can connect to dozens of websites built with HTML5 standards, and you can really see how amazing they are when viewed in the IE9 Beta. Please go and experience the Beauty of the Web for yourself.

What's all the fuss about? How could they possibly improved it enough in one version for it to be usable?
I think most of that 2 million would have removed it within a couple of hours of the install.
I did.
Can't be bothered downloading it, it won't be replacing Firefox or Chrome on my computers.

Well i've downloaded it..tried it all day..and I have to say it's the best version of Internet Explorer yet. For a beta.
There are rendering issues and it only manages 95/100 on acid3..but for the vast majority of properly coded websites and web apps, i've found no problems.
Personally I love the new look/feel (ie the UI), and I find it faster than chrome in general use (seems that way anyway), which is good considering how quick chrome is..
Few general beta issues as you might expect - the odd website has a minor layout issue and i've had one crash, but otherwise..looking good!
I've flitted around the various browsers over the years, sticking with chrome for the past few..but this may well be the browser to tempt me back if Microsoft keep it up. Fingers crossed they are allowed to include it in the next version of windows
Really? And how did google manage to produce a version 1 browser that was usable?
Anything is possible, MS are more than capable when internal politics allows..
Anyway for me it's pretty good - certainly not "stop using Opera" good but a welcome improvement. Seems to suffer from the odd bug (fatally blank on start occasionally) but certainly good enough to stop MS losing more browser share IMHO.
Is this in open beta or just to technet? Been searching for a download link on the MS website but cant see anything...

Does it open faster than Chrome? That is all I care about.
(Well, I care about other things too, but if it opens slower, I'm not even going to bother with it.)
never going back to IE. the only reason I still have to use it from time-to-time is work, and even they are catching on to how much better Chrome really is.
