I have nothing against WP7 but the main thing that actually puts me off (and I'm sure there are others out there that would agree) is how much they're pushing the xbox live connectivity ahead of all else, sure it may be the best thing for them to do at the minute and it will probably help them sell a lot of phones to people that like that sort of thing, but it's not something I'm remotely interested in and it's just distracting from any other actual desirable features the OS might have. Still I guess I can't complain, a lot of people aren't remotely into social networking in any shape or form either, but it doesn't stop all the main phone companies ramming it down our throats because it's currently what the mass public wants, such is business I suppose.

I don't like it, it's firmly in 4th place in terms of the "smartphone OS's" only just above Nokia's attempts..but I think it will sell better than their vastly superior 6.X series.

It's a move away from the traditional smartphone, and this is something of a trend we have seen recently..iOS, Android, WM7..none of those OS's or the devices that run them are really smartphones anymore, and for this new marketplace I think WM7 will do quite well.

They have a lost a customer in me to apple as frankly I think apple do the consumer entertainment device (thats also a phone) much better than MS ever could, but if they decide to revive the 6.X line i'd be happy to jump back to them in a snap!

We'll see what happens at launch I guess

I'm feeling a lot more positive toward WP7 than I was in the past. I'm looking forward to the launch to see what they will bring to the table, but I'm not expecting to want to switch from Android.
