Prices are getting closer and closer to me getting one for my notebook. If £~150 is actually the price the 120GB ones sell for, it's a distinct possibility of getting one.

£150 for a 120GB SF drive (albeit with a nerfed firmware that limits random writes) is a very good deal considering Intel will sell their 80GB one for £160+. Hopefully Intel won't keep delaying their G3s
Hmmm getting tempted, 120GB is enough for my OS/games partition...

wow, the 120GB one excluding VAT is £1.05 per GB, might have to buy into this...

Will be interesting to see how these drives compare to the Vertex 2E ones, considering they use the same controller but these are a lot cheaper, there has to be some difference, any word on if they changed the supplier of flash NAND or maybe this drive has shrunk the manufacturing size down from 30nm?

This is where I really start to consider a SSD for my main desktop.
I'd really like to see a high capacity 512gb+ ssd hit the shelves at an affordable price - I dont care if the read/writes are sub 200mbs, I just want something tiny, fast and 100% silent to stick all my games etc on!
Liking the 120gb pricing though...
any news on when the new intel ssd / g3 line-up will apear?
