I get the feeling this relates to more the aspect of mobile gaming ?.

There's possibly more growth in games created for say iOS and Android, simple impulse £2.99 purchases that you can take with you wherever you go, than having a £150 console with a £35 game hooked up to a £450 TV ?.

I have no idea of the figures but this market must be getting huge, as I know that myself and my family are now part of this brigade (ooh that game looks good, only £1.49, I'll buy that whilst I'm waiting for Dragon's Den to come on and have a quick play).
