These do support trim wth raid iirc the silicon image drivers shipped with these cards support trim.

What's the obsession with TRIM? Everyone keeps going on about it like a broken record.
What matters is garbage collection, and how performance is maintained on the SSD after usage. TRIM is one way of making it easier for SSD's to achieve that. Some SSD's run just fine without TRIM.

Because TRIM is the only way the drive knows whether or not the filesystem is done with a block.

Anyway, got me a Vertex 2E and that's plenty fast enough for now.

Re: News - OCZ launches RevoDrive X2

According to the manufacturer, the latest RevoDrives should be available immediately through all of the normal channels. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find any listings yet and have no information on pricing. However, the original models can still be found teetering just above the £2/GB mark, so we'd expect the new drives to arrive at a similar price, if not a little more.
The whole range of Revodrive X2 can be ordered from http://www.alternate.de/html/solr/search/result.html

I ordered the 240Gb, should be here on tuesday.

    Enjoy.
