I wouldn't put The Orange Box on there myself as A.) its 5 games and B.) in the grand scheme of things there are better games, as pointed out in the article, it is value for money however.

I wouldn't be a travesty if it was, but there are definitely games that could compete with it - the most obvious one being CoD4 and as much as a Halo fag that I am, that would be my number 1 360 game.

Orange Box was the first look at Half Life for a lot of console gamers, who don't play PC games. the overall package is outstanding value. There are a lot of games that we came up with that narrowly miss out, but we think Orange Box deserves its place.

Outstanding value? Without a doubt - But the Orange Box is a compilation, not a game. It's hard to compare the two on equal footing, more so when the console port was mediocre compared to the PC version.

Would of thought most 'console gamers' first look at Half Life would of been on the PS2, TBH.

Again the overall package is value, but it isn't a single game and personally, none of the OB games would be in my top 5.

Looking forward too 1-4 tomorrow though.

£50 it's Fallout 3. Or Bioshock... Obviously Halo 3 and Reach are possible contenders. You can never rule out Halo when top lists are concerned. Maybe it could be a (little) surprise like GTA 4. I can't wait to find out!

P.S. I am a massive Halo fan but I reckon a Halo probably doesn't deserve to be best game this time round...

You'll probably be a bit shocked at number 1 and I expect to be flamed, but I really pushed this particular game home as it's one of my fav console games of all time.

Danroyle and Zhaoman I'll take those bets, worst case I lose nothing as one person can just pay the other, best case I win £100

Get crying. GoW2 is no more than 6 hours of entertainment...

Best Singleplayer: CoD Modern Warfare (a breath of fresh air at the time but too short) or Mass Effect 2

Best Multiplayer: Halo 3 (even though I spend my time playing CoD)

Hardest Game: Perfect Dark Zero on Perfect Agent (many hours of death recorded here)

    Biggest Disappointment: Wolfenstein

    Best ****-my-pants-whilst-playing: Condemned
