    Please, God no........

I am hoping that Take-Two can tell Activision to shove it. This is all we need, Activision grab games, milk them and turn them into rehash of the same old crap and then dump the studio's and the franchise when the sales slump.

Agreed 100% - They also then have a habit of making PC releases very poor! Take two are one of the few to decent PC releases.

Oh wow that is crazy, all those big hitters under one roof. Activision is trying to dominate the gaming market. I wish they would release more information on Modern Warfare 3. I just read here mwarfare3.com/modern-warfare-3-to-be-95-bug-free-142 that they will make Modern Warfare 3 at least 95% bug free according to Sledgehammer Games. Which is great because Black Ops was extremely buggy and the experience was just ruined. And don't let me start with MW2...

I wouldn't hold out much hope for MW3 as IW had to pull in sledgehammer and raven to help them get it in any playable state. IW lost their good staff when Activision refused to pay them the royalties they were owed. Will be interesting to see what toss MW3 comes out as. It's typical Activision, MW3 will be MW2 + BO + nothing new. I reckon MW3 will be to milk lots of cash. Tbh all FPS are doing the same, the genre needs something new, same old play is getting boring quick.

The CoD series has been EXACTLY the same since CoD 4, I really can't see MW3 being any different, or worth buying. Unless they do something exceptional and do some work on the game I won't be buying it.

Would anybody like to quantify "95% bug free"?

Haha, that's pretty awful! Especially when you consider how bug-free PS1 games were! I say it all the time but I'm sick and tired of game publishers getting lazy and releasing beta/alpha quality games for full price, knowing they can get the public to do the testing for them for free then release a patch a few months down the line if they feel like it.

Maybe for 5 minutes in every 100, you just drop endlessly through the floor. I can't wait!

Re: News - Rumour - Activision swoops for Take-Two Interactive

This will be a massive shame if it comes true - its rapidly approaching the stage where Valve are the only semi-decent games publisher left...and they take forever to get anything done!

Really dislike Activision of recent years... they seem to have taken it upon themselves to out-do EA for title of worst games publisher :/

Yet people continue to line their pockets with gold.....

It's amazing how many people moan about them, yet no-one seems to stop buying their games (sorry, regurgitated old ).

I've stopped, they won't see any more of my money until they start doing some work and charging the same as everyone else. I mean why do people pay MORE for their games when all they basically are is a copy-paste job + a map pack?? All the latest CoD games should have been DLC for about 800MS Points or something.
