So they're going to try to charge for it if you don't pre-order? That sounds like a good move.
It's a bit daft giving away maps as a freebie. They're only any good if everybody has them.
Isn't the expansion part of the limited edition rather than as a result of the preorder? At least thats how I read the email I received...

Def gonna pre-order, spent a good 200 hours in karkand. It was probably the most played map out of all. Havent played BF2 for a couple of years now but I still know karkand like the back of me karkhand

This trialer made me buy a GTX 480 so hopefully it will help anyone doubting the pre order! =P

Considering the expansion give you Karkand, its got to be worth a pre order. One of the best maps on on BF2 imo.
