Still not sure with this one. I love the Android platform but the whole thing with SE and them stopping the updates for the X10 have annoyed me. When I spoke to the Rep last year he said its their flagship handset and they were going to give it 3 years of support and updates. So now I am going to be stuck on 2.1 indefinately on my X10, if they do the same thing with this new device only time will tell. If they keep the momentum going with it and keep the updates flowing then I may consider it when my upgrade is due towards Christmas.

If they pull a fast one like they have done already then HTC are going to be getting my money.

If you've got an X10 and you don't use the video recording feature, then why not reflash it with one of the xda-dev ROM's? I took the plunge at the weekend and my X10 is now running faster (Quadrant benchmark is up to 5x faster) with the Wolfbreak version of 2.2. After all, it's dead easy to reflash it with the old SE ROM when you need to hand it back.

Anyone know about the promised Sony store/app on normal Android devices? I wouldn't mind being able to use my newly updated X10 for a bit of PS1 gaming.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...
