It’s getting scary how much you can do with a mobile.

Completely agree with the previous comment, i thought this was a user submitted article but no, it's a member of staff. Since mobile.biz has started the articles on Hexus are getting sloppier and less intuitive. From this moment on i'm ditching Hexus and moving on to engadget/occ/gsmarena.....

It's just a bit of light-hearted fun on a Friday afternoon.

The fact that I know who Divisive is makes the articles all the more interesting.

Indeed, as the comments show he seems to divide opinion. You'd almost think that was deliberate...

love how its only new users that have criticize the general friday article by divisive. I find the articles to be laid back a fair bit, its nice to read on a friday (also reminds me its friday!)

Re: Opinions - Dual-core smartphones? I’m selling my PC, games console and satnav

i think (know) im behind in the phone race. Ive only recently upgraded to a phone with a camera in it. a whopping 640x480 camera i might add, and its my first digital camera too.

    not bad for £15 .

its even got a clock on it. and an FM radio, but due to the way shopmobilitys new place is constructed you cant get a mobile signal anywhere in the building, and you cant even pick up the radio signal from the radio station you can see by looking out the window.

im just happy for my phone to be a phone, couldnt care less whether it did anything else or not. even my mum uses her mobile more than i do, and she only switches it on once a week. i once went 6 months without turning it on because i didnt need to. I talk face to face with anyone i want to talk to anyway.

the only reason i actually have a phone is for emergencies and even then i dont carry it around with me all the time. its either in my bag or on the shelf next to the charger.

so to the point of this rambling on..

do we actually need a device that can do everything, or is it just the likes of nokia, HTC and the rest telling us we have to use one, because everyone else is and we are a social outcast if we dont?

Thumbs down Re: Opinions - Dual-core smartphones? I’m selling my PC, games console and satnav

Whether the sloppy slang writing style is intentional - as I think it is, or not
    - it just makes the article (and site) look unprofessional IMO.

Even more so when friday's articles remain at the top for the whole weekend

its definitely not just new users who find these 'new style' of articles to be garbage...

i broadly agree with the article, but on the subject of gaming it may well replace a lot of gaming but only the casual stuff.

    Opinion remains divided...good.

You wouldn't want a site that just wrote safe, innocuous, bland, generic content would you?

FYI Divisive's articles are always among the most-read.

I wouldnt want a site that was 'safe, innocuous, bland, generic' but hexus has never been that, it's getting sloppy in most articles around the site not just in this article. It's like your trying to sound young and hip but IMO your not, it's just making you look desperate.
