wow is it true that the old modern warefare engine is just a heavily modded quake 3 engine.

I was always under the impression it was the Doom 3 / Quake 4 engine heavily modded...
It cant be better then BF3 simply because the trailer doesnt show you piloting the aircraft/tanks so i presume yet again its only single player that you see scripted fights or something and then just a bit of physics.

Looks a bit cartoony :s The BF3 engine looks much better.
Time will tell i guess, Havent bought a modern warfare game yet though and dont intend to now.

Honestly I dropped the COD series after the first MW, story and Single Player wise the new instalments have been great but the Multiplayer disappointed me on various levels. Plus once I decide to play a FPS online I tend to exclusivity stick to it for a while, which gets hard when they announce new expansions to the series every 6 months or so?
