Downside is that you'd have to have one of these "SuperHub's" - which I've found to be the least reliable bit of network hardware I've ever seen. And judging by the vitriol being hurled on the VM forums, I'm not alone in being less than impressed.
what is the upload on this?

if your in one of the upgrade areas its now 10:1 ratio, e.g. 10mb download/1mb upload and here it will be 100mb download/ 10mb upload... im still waiting for this upgrade , july is when plymouth/newton abbot is meant to be upgraded lol.
I got this activated a couple of weeks back, so far speeds have been good, although the superhub is a lot worse for wireless range than the older d-link router

Can't say i've ever had a problem at all. Once you turn some of the firewall features off (which are pointless anyway), it gets alot better. For some reason one of the firewall filters looks for a high number of outbound requests from a client, which i found was blocking DNS request when trying to load webpages. Since i have turned that off its been smooth sailing.
Wireless signal seems fine, and if the range isnt that great, i consider that a bonus, as it means less chance of someone finding it as they walk/drive past
The main complaint that i would have is that having 100Mbit does show up how slow some websites are, and how bad Virgin's international transit is to some countries.
What sort of download speeds does this give? I'm used to 450K/sec at a push with the wind behind it!! My upload is good tho, nearly 1Mb I think
I wonder if it will have traffic shaping?
