As I understand it, which isn't at super boffin level I'll admit, (A big part of me really wants that to be his official job title ) not really. It's a relatively simple structural change in terms of design, the bulk of the challenge was in actually producing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIkMaQJSyP8 is a pretty good, if slightly childish explanation from the same guy.
