"Ubislate". How unfortunate. At first I read it, wondering if it required a permanent internet connection.

At £22 I'd buy one to smash and another to prize apart with a screwdriver.

Are you an Indian graduate student though, seems they want to charge everyone else £39. Shall we go halves?

I'd go halves on one just to get Hexus to do more filmed "stress testing". It's been too long!
I wonder if someone will make the worlds largest touch-screen cluster from them.....at the price you could even use them as targets/sensors in sports/activities!

"£99 for the UbiSurferTouch7 Plus £6 shipping" http://www.ubisurfer.com/html/tablet7.htm#
Hrm, seems to have jumped to £105 if you go to pre-order.
For a 366mhz device 2GB storage, think I'll pass
This is throw away technology ?
Heehee
4 out of the first 5 google results for "Ubislate 7" are on Hexus
Yeah its 366mhz elsewhere but Hexus above says 600mhz plus its resistive screen. I know its cheap but is it worth effort in UK?
I'd be VERY interested in this, £39 Wow...
As someone with a cheap android tablet (The £70 disgo from scan) with a resistive touch screen and a 1Ghz processor I'd really advise against anything like it. Get a capacitive screen and something with a modern processor (The disgo's is an ARM generation behind and can't really do flash etc).
If you want a photo frame get one - the screen will be far better.
