If the prices they were quoting were the sim free prices i'd of been tempted but since they are how much you have to pay on top of an already poor value contract NO WAY
No. I will get another Android phone... in February when my contract is up... because I use google for my calendars, and run Linux on my PCs
Pre-ordered myself the 16GB white one about half an hour ago.
Got someone buying my iPhone 4 16GB next week for £300 so I see it as £200 for the upgrade. Not a bad price if you ask me.
Quite likely. If I hadn't just been hit by a big MOT bill I would have pre ordered one to replace my 3GS. I'll get one soon enough on a SIM free deal.

Have pored over the technical advances in the 4S and realising that it's undeniably a very capable handset, irrespective of whether it's called a '5' or not, I'm tempted to throw lots of pennies at the fruit company.
NO!
I can buy a i7 5000 and still be left with money in my pocket.

An i7 5000?? You mean a Xeon??
Not a chance. My samsung galaxy 2 is a better phone. I got it sim free which can now be had for under £400.

Who wants it with the likes of the galaxy 2 available. Apple is fast loosing its midas touch on the mobile market IMO, and good riddance!
Not for me. Partly because of Apple's sue everyone attitude, and partly because (ironically, yes) I currently just want a phone that works.. and for me that means not using iTunes, and not trying to work around it. And partly because of my current investment into the Android ecosystem.
Yep, because it does what I want it to. It will replace my 3G which recently finally gave up the ghost. IMO the interface is more polished and the hardware way less fragmented than Android.
Too rich for my blood
