Good lord, are they still around?

I would expect the next Nexus to be a Motorola, I guess by the time this acquisition went through, Samsung were already under contract to build the Nexus Prime.
Why are they reusing the name Razr? It immediately reminds me of that godawful flip phone I had that fell apart after a year...
My wife still has a Razr.
I think. She's not really into phones. It's a flip. Not the tiny one they did, but the bigger one.

I miss flip phones. Inbuilt anti-scratch and a good shape for making phone calls.
In fact, I might just buy one as my left on-all-the-time device. I'm fed up charging the oversized battery guzzler nightly (shuffles off to ebay....)
Looks nice but will it be enough for people to be weaned off of their iphones?
I'm with you on this, was actually talking about it last week. I always loved flip phones for actually talking on the phone, it felt better in the hand and as though I had more control. As much as I love my Galaxy S II, it isn't a flip phone.
I did own a RAZR2 V8 for a while back in mid-2008. Looked gorgeous but the keypad was absolutely horrendous as it was touch sensitive so there was just no feedback when texting or typing a number in.
