basically they're worried about Battlefield 3 stealing 100% of pc gamers, so they have brought back features that are standard to PC games lol! Wasted effort IMO as it just wont be able to compete on the same level.
But appreciate them finally looking at pc slightly seriously.
At least they are taking the PC market a bit more seriously, but as the above poster said some of the things there are just standard anyway for PCs.
"The big feature for MW3 we are supporting is Dedicated Servers, this includes a server browser, voting, RCON, and more."
This was in COD4, why is this now touted as a big feature, do they think we forget it was there then removed?
Be afraid IW...be afraid...

holy none-news batman! haha they're just trying to sensationalize a few features to try and distract from them not doing anything new
don't think i've ever seen such a big game offer so little publicity
The video show no multi player action at all. Just a pre set stage that could be taken as if it was single player ! I haven't seen any real multiplayer action ?
And as you've all said the features at blotted...
Spinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Reckon I'm sticking with BF3 only.
So dedicated servers are now a major selling point? Wow, how times have changed.
Edit: Let's be honest you had your chance, you failed to add anything of worth beyond the original MW, you removed critical features in MW2, didn't keep on top of hacking, and charged excessive prices on "special editions". Now the king is back in town and you're cacking your pants it's going to affect your sales. Well don't worry you have loads of fan boys so you'll get your pound of flesh, but you will have a major hit on your sales thanks to your overly confident attitude to PC gamer's wishes with your last release.

MW3 looks a lot like MW1 but with polishes graphics. They have removed a lot of exciting features that they had added in MW2.
I for one, am not throwing my money.
It's great that they are bringing back dedicated servers. Just a shame that if you want to rank up and obtain unlocks you will need to use P2P on IWNet again - dedi's will be unranked only!
Kind of makes bringing them back a bit pointless and not at all like the CoD4 experience I remember. Made the decision to go with BF3 all the more easier!
I thought dedicated servers was one of the reasons that Activision where trying to pimp (word chosen with care) the "Elite" service. Doesn't say much for Elite if one of the main pluses is available for everyone.
Got to say that I'm pretty convinced now that MW3 will be an XBox-only for me, and BF3 is looking pretty good for a PC-only. Especially as there's some really good deals out there on BF3.
Just hope they fix the sound and vision on this one. It is diabolically bad on MW2, bordering on making it unplayable.
I wish no one would buy this title. Only reason for why the keep going is cause of the idiots that insist on believing in a company that's already turned their back on the player. Unranked Dedi's? Just release it on console only and be done with it, jesus.
