"It all sounds all very Star Trek, ..." I'm sure you realise what happened
It's an interesting technology but I'm not excited by it. I keep wondering how it's response will be to people's touch compared with current touch screens. I have a lot of static energy in my body which means I can't wear battery-less watches and battle to operate touch screens properly. Somehow I don't think this technology will help.
Flexible displays made out of nano-tubes? Does this mean the end of broken phone displays?

wow, Nokia look like they have a good product there (been a while since I said that)
All depends on price though.

It's just a tech demo Jay, you won't be buying one anytime soon!
Meh. Touching the screen is soooo 2009. Kinect meets multi(non)touch is the future. Someone just needs to invent it...
the problem with that is it would require a 3D interface which with current technology would be unreliable, not user friendly and inaccurate.
You 'just' need a camera that watches finger movements relative to each other.
What like this guy?

I remember seeing this flexible page technology shown off by a Uni group (via youtube I believe) only a year or so ago. Looks as though Nokia bought them out!
