I just got it yesterday. Not happy with a few things :
    - The Menu GUI looks as if a noob team made it.
    - In multiplayer, you cant see people ... as in someone always comes from any direction and guns you down. In MW2, you knew of the typical directions people come from.
    - Shotgun is now a primary weapon rather than a side weapon

Really? I would have thought 4-5 year old graphics, zoomed up large on a projector would show it's age even more.

Doesn't seem to alter the immersion of the whole wall being your battlefield, surprisingly!

Besides, playing on my 26" TV takes the wee, especially split screen

I agree with both of these:
    - the menu GUI looks very dated and basic, really needs an upgrade
    - Multiplayer spanw points on the smaller maps are ridiculous, I've spawned right next multiple enemy players on numerous occassions and vice versa = very frustrating!!

Seems like the mindless masses have already bought this game in hordes, with news of the highest sales ever. No wonder CoD is such a cash in these days when people keep paying out for what is essentially just CoD 4 rehashed every year.

Re: Reviews - Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Watched a friend play on PC. I asked whether he could turn the annoying and distracting in-game music off. Nope, can't do it by a simple menu on/off or slider scale. Seems you have to search the internet for a work around. So no money from me. If games designers can't be bothered to put in such a simple feature that is expected then I can't be bothered to pay good money for a poor product.

I loved the MW series (just like I loved the CoD and MoH franchises) but no more. No wonder illegal downloading is so popular.

And no wonder Infinity Ward and Activision can't put such simple features in there games as everyone is using illegal downloads, at the end of the day you only get what you pay for

Re: Reviews - Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

I only really started playing CoD when MW2 came out and I'm already seeing the repetitive side of it shame Battlefield doesn't have multiplayer split screen or I'd turn to the dark side!
