    as above, impressed with Asus at the moment, looks like mac are finally going to have some competition in the laptop sector for people who want something that also offers them a little bit of style.
    Doesnt interest me at the moment i have to admit, once they start squeezing decent GPUs in there however, i reckon i might get involved!

    Did you try booting it off a live Linux CD to see what worked? And if not, why not?

    Exactly, my thought process was "oh I didn't realise it had an optical drive" followed by an "oh its a joke, no one runs the specific flavour of linux they would test."

    Fool rush in....just wait for another 3-5 months for realistic price instead of current rip-off price. Hope AMD 'Trinity' will find its footing in this type of ultra-thin notebook, but without the stupid pricing they did to A Series APU range notebook.
