Couldn't you just use a usb joypad with a android tablet? After all USB keyboards and mice seem to work fine. Would be a lot cheaper too - All you'd need then is a decent clamp!

This is supposed to be quite a sturdy little peripheral. I have an Xperia PLAY and I think the joypad makes gaming better. However, I agree, £50 is quite expensive.

Dont forget you can play a vast number of online games on an android device. Meaning you could use this game pad to play reasonable games on your handheld.

Considering a ps3 controller as just an example is way under that, and this looks like it might be cheap quality wise, I'm going to have to disagree...

So it's basically a knock-off of the iControlPad but more expensive, the nastiest-looking D-pad in the world, and without dual analog sticks.

For an item that uses Bluetooth, I'm not surprised at the price, though I don't actually think it's worth buying... Like someone said, a majority of the games are £1-5, and you don't really look for a full on gaming experience with portable items like the iPhone and iPad; at most, people play games on the bus for a few minutes or something.
