Not very good prices at all
£47 for a 16GB 3GS ?
Everywhere else gives £100
Yeah the prices are rubbish. Only offered me £50 for my 32GB 3GS, worth much more elsewhere.
Offered £350 for my 32GB 4S, paid £600 for it on release day.
106 days old, lost £250, so it's cost me £2.35 a day if I were to sell it.
And they're offering £413 for my mid-2009 15" MacBook Pro, in excellent condition and working fine.. Paid £1399 for it IIRC.

I'll agree with you in some ways,, however -- Iphones run at the same pricing as alot of their competitors (more so on contract) - Ipads -- outside of the very recently released androids,, who else has something that size for that price?Originally Posted by jnutt

the other side of the spectrum, I do believe their Macs (desktop & mobile) are pricey --- however they do have a build quality above & beyond competitors -- i just got a 27" imac,, to just get a compareable monitor from a competitor I would be looking at 60% of what i paid for the whole system and I'd still have to get the rest of the system -- then pricing would be somewhat similar....
Totally disagree, find me for £20 an iPhone on £20 pcm, for 12 month contract, unlimiated (well FUP) data and plenty of calls/texts.....

ipad 2 £197, I sent them a email asking about ones that were engraved and they said £125!!
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?
That's one reason why I'd never get anything engraved, it makes it almost impossible to sell on afterwards.
It's great for a gift, if you know they will be using it for a good few years, but I like to upgrade my tech pretty regularly, so it's just not an option for me.

Engraving on an iPad for a young kid is exactly what it's intended for tbh, kids love stuff like that
And, here I thought I was gonna do a mad dash to eBay and buy every faulty smashed screen and charger error iPhone.
If your iPhone doesn't work, you only get £13.25 for it! BAH!
They're flogging them on I reckon.
