£%ck yes! Finally! Time to save to upgrade. Can't wait.
Oh, and there's more:
ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE Wi-Fi-GO!
micro ATX Maximus V GENE
ASUS P8Z77 WS
Yum-yum..

They should add an extra detachable heatsink that you can screw into the motherboard once you've fitted it to your case.
A bit of heatpaste and screw it to the motherboard heatsink between the USB ports. Could even add a fan to it, for a bit of extra cooling to that motherboard plate. If it had heatpipes going through the plate that all meet at that point, it would work quite well
I fear the current design may actually just keep heat IN
This is why I love my P67 Sabertooth! If only Asus did a mATX version, my HTPC would have one too LOL but for now the Gene suffices!
Do like the look of the Sabertooth but the built in wi-fi on the P8Z77-V DELUXE would be quite useful, ah if only we had some concrete pricing!
I love the way you say 'take the wraps off' when most of the board is hidden
My mate has the p67 sabertooth and its a swine for keeping the heat in... motherboard temps are sky high!
Ahhh man.... ASUS covered the board with plastic heat traps AGAIN!!!!
Thought they were done with this foolish tom foolery
If it were genuinely such a great idea.... how come their top end Rampage boards never have them.....
Nuff said!
Can't wait too get this beast.
This is a must for my next PC...Asus never let me down
I went with the Asus Maximus V formula. Its been great and really liked the thermo fusion. Worked well because i was planning on water cooling anyway. Temps are nice and low.
