Surely a 15% drop in price means that the next series will only perform ~15% better?

I'd save that judgement for once the series has actually launched A drop at this stage is just to entice some extra purchases to help clear stock.

Agree. There's DX9, DX10 and 11 titles to compare for performance, healthy bunch of synthetic benchmarks and CPU/RAM/GPU configurations and OC on top. We are a good bit away for any reasonable performance comparison claim.

What? It was under £240 at least 6 months ago. The MSI 570 was ~£235 I think for a lot of the second half of last year.

Flagship pricing seems to remain reasonably constant, and at the same time they're trying to also stay on the performance/price curve (which isn't linear, hence the ~).

Apparantly that was a rumoured date but guessing it's too late to get a press conference up and running

    Not in California.
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

GTX570 should be less than £200 and the 560Ti 448 shouldn't even exist but heck what do I know only that I'm not parting with any cash.
