Hmm - built-in obsolescence, so you have to get a new one each year. Sure that'll go down well with shareholders.

Oil is running out so yea handy to cut back on plastic use where possible.

Well it won't last forever and isn't very biodegradable. A few bamboo keyboards aren't going change that but anything that tries alternative construction materials is a good thing IMO.

I grow bamboo in the garden. I think it's a lovely material and resource. It's one of the fastest growing things on the planet. I'm not to convinced about on my desk though.

It would look great on my wooden desk, sure.
....but what about the mouse? You can't make a keyboard and not a matching mouse.....

8% remaining for the PCB, the keys, cable and various other gubbins. Having recently dismantled a generic HP keyboard I'm struggling to see how this is even possible.
