Pity it's only available on Android 4.0, any plans for compatibility with earlier versions? Chrome has become my browser of choice recently, got sick of Opera's incompatibility issues... I know it's often more to do with the sites than the browser but it's still annoying. It's still my favourite mobile browser though.
I seem to remember that the promise was that Chrome-for-Android would be out on ICS first, and then would be "trickled down" to Gingerbread devices "shortly".
Way things are going I'll have traded up my current Gingerbread device to an ICS one before they do that "trickle down".
That said, I use Chrome on my ICS-running tablet and it's pretty sweet (apart from the lack of download capability, which means that Firefox still earns it's storage space).
Any and all innovation in this area is most welcome. Well done Google ^.^
just downloaded this and it has synced everything from my desktop chrome flawlessly. hoping this integrates into Google Drive when that is released. - http://hexus.net/business/news/internet/38037-google-drive-launch-next-week-5gb-free-cloud-storage/
Shame there's a bug that causes Facebook to jump to the top of the page consistently once it's loaded the page. For everything else I've used it for, it's just excellent.
Chrome Sync rocks my world.

The article does say:
And I've tried downloading episodes of Twit's All About Android show in the past with Chrome/Android and usually it ignores me completely. That said, I'll admit to the possibility that either my copy is subtly corrupt or there's something else getting in the way - I've not tried downloading other file types to double check. Firefox works fine with those video podcasts, so I'll use that for the time being. The browser has been updated to support file downloads and can work with Android configured proxy settings.
